Her previous machine limited the material thickness she could cut and slowed her turnaround. After switching, she reported cutting production time from roughly a week down to about a day, and described her overall business growth since as tenfold. She also praised the setup experience, noting the machine arrived well packaged and was already correctly aligned out of the box.
Nate Dittmar of Laser Lakes in Minnesota reported a similar shift after upgrading to the Hydra 16, a 150-watt CO2 and 38-watt RF dual-tube system. She said complex 3D lake map projects that once took several days now take a few hours, with less wasted material and tighter registration between layers, letting her take on larger custom orders without sacrificing the precision her work depends on.
A similar story came from Taran, a hat-patch and leatherette maker who chose the Hydra 9, a 100-watt CO2 and 38-watt RF dual-laser system, over a Black Friday deal on a smaller single-tube machine. He and his wife had the Hydra 9 engraving its first patch within a few hours of delivery, even during a snowstorm, and said the larger bed, dual tubes, and stronger airflow gave them more capability for less money than the machine they had originally planned to buy. Consistent, edge-to-edge detail on batch orders has since let the couple expand from patches into wood signage and custom glassware.
