The Costa Mesa charging center brings 40 all-inclusive EV chargers, premium amenities and onsite support to a high-traffic Orange County corridor

COSTA MESA, Calif., April 8, 2026 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Today, Rove, a Southern California-based developer of award-winning full-service electric vehicle (EV) charging centers, continues its expansion with the opening of its second location at 2666 Harbor Blvd., Costa Mesa, CA 92626. Building on the success of its flagship Santa Ana site, the new Costa Mesa center elevates the public charging experience with high-speed chargers, thoughtfully designed onsite amenities, and knowledgeable staff.

With more than one acre dedicated to EV charging and customer comfort, Rove – Costa Mesa features 40 direct-current (DC) fast chargers, including a mix of Tesla V4 Superchargers and ABB’s premium high-power chargers—the most inclusive charging center in the region. Every charger at Rove also provides live charger status through the Rove App, Chargeway, and Google Maps.

A New Standard for the Public Charging Experience

Like its Santa Ana predecessor, Rove’s Costa Mesa center blends speed, simplicity, and hospitality in one destination. The 5,384-square-foot micro-market, ReCharge by Gelson’s, will feature an expanded offering including fresh produce and hot food service items such as breakfast burritos and sandwiches, chicken wings and tenders, pizza, hot dogs, soups, and other small bites. This ReCharge will also offer a selection of thoughtfully curated everyday essentials including bread, beverages, snacks, and pasta for a well-rounded experience.

Additionally, Rove’s lounge provides free Wi-Fi, a comfortable space to work or relax, and clean restrooms as an added convenience. With daytime charging support staff and nighttime security, Rove customers have the support they need to charge comfortably in the well-lit charging area.

The Costa Mesa center opened just over one year after Rove’s Santa Ana full-service charging center opened to the public. The Santa Ana location hosts more than 600 customers per day on average.

What’s Next for Rove
