Sustainserv, a global management consulting firm that helps clients integrate sustainability strategies into their business operations, will be hosting two Boston Climate Week events that will explore how Boston-based corporate sustainability leaders are working to reduce their impacts on climate change and the key strategies for assessing nature-based business risks.
The first event, entitled “Companies Leading the Way on Climate Solutions,” will take place on Thursday, May 7th at 4:00 p.m. ET at The Foundry in Cambridge. The event is in partnership with several pioneering groups, including Eversource, New England’s largest energy delivery company; KinderCare Learning Companies, the nation’s largest private provider of early education and childcare; Qlik, an AI-powered data integration and analytics solutions company; and Thermo Fisher Scientific, a leading supplier in products for laboratories and clinics.
Sustainserv’s Director Cristina Mendoza will facilitate an interactive panel discussion with a group of accomplished women leaders including Clare Connolly, Director of Sustainability and Climate for Eversource; Danielle Ricketts, Senior Manager of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility for KinderCare Learning Companies; Julie Kae, VP, Sustainability and DE&I for Qlik; and Alyssa Caddle, Senior Director, Global Sustainability for Thermo Fisher Scientific. The panelists will discuss their collective efforts to combat climate change in the corporate space, as well as the current challenges and opportunities corporate leaders face when it comes to achieving sustainability goals.
“Boston is home to some of the world’s leading corporate sustainability leaders,” said Matthew Gardner, Managing Partner of Sustainserv. “Sustainserv is thrilled to bring together a diverse selection of Boston-based sustainability pioneers from Eversource, KinderCare, Qlik, and Thermo Fisher, who will offer timely insights on how they are spearheading sustainability success in a way that’s both good for the climate and their business models.”
Following Thursday’s event, Sustainserv will also host a “Lunch & Learn” at their Boston office on Friday, May 8th at 12:00 p.m. ET for sustainability practitioners to learn about the nuances of nature-specific risk assessments and how to integrate them into their business models.
Sustainserv is proud to be hosting these events for Boston Climate Week that will bring together the city’s stand-out thought leaders in the corporate sustainability space to offer timely and insightful perspectives on the best business strategies for combating climate change.
